We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to drive execution of the short-term product roadmap and assist in defining the long-term strategy. You will be a key member of our our talented Product team. Our creative environment is the right mix of serious quality work and fun that naturally leads to product innovation for our clients.

  • Build a deep understanding of DonorDrive clients, end users, and the nonprofit market
  • Become an expert of DonorDrive and related products/services offered
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX designers, QA, and product marketing to build and ship new features
  • Ensure project teams are clear on objectives every step of the way
  • Develop project plans and ensure milestones are met to hit target release dates
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate sprint and release planning (we are a scrum team)
  • Define success metrics, help measure product performance, and use data to drive decisions that enhance the user experience
  • Maintain product documentation and collaborate with Product Marketing on content
  • Educate internal staff on upcoming and recent releases
  • Assist in maintaining product backlog
  • Assist in defining long term strategy


  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a technical/related field
  • 1-3 years experience working on a software/product development team
  • Experience in an agile environment and using related planning tools (JIRA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with people at varying skill levels (from clients to support to engineering to senior leadership and clients); be the glue between teams
  • Background in and enthusiasm for delivering delightful user experiences, emerging technologies, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and present data; ability to rationalize decisions
  • Self-driven ability to manage competing priorities and operate autonomously

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in or volunteering in the nonprofit industry
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA)
