We are searching for an Account Director on our Digital Services Team. This position is responsible for overseeing all custom projects and digital marketing plans for both for profit and non-profit clients. This position will also serve as the main account contact for all of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all client website design/development, online marketing, SEO, digital media and analytics solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, serving as the first communication line to all clients and partners
  • Provide input for the marketing and business development initiatives of the Digital Services Team
  • Research and evaluate changing industry trends and best practices, recommending and/or revising online marketing strategies for clients to maintain competitiveness
  • Ensure regular communication across the Digital Services Team and other internal teams
  • Translate technical concepts into easy to understand explanations for the client so that they can review project progression and provide appropriate feedback
  • Continuously review and improve current workflows and processes
  • Maintain communication with clients to update them on account strategy and project progress, making sure to understand their organization and needs
  • Analyze client business to identify opportunities for incremental project growth, and ensure clients are growing contracts year over year
  • Create all new business proposals and client presentations
  • Manage renewal of client contracts year over year
  • Manage all client budgets and company income projections
  • Lead and mentor an internal team of designers, developers, and Search Marketing/Analytics Lead
  • Other duties as assigned and needed

 

Ideal Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Google Analytics and Google Adwords certified
  • Working knowledge of various web browsers and computer programs
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Extensive knowledge of various online marketing tools and methods
  • Solid understanding of new paid search technologies, PPC best practices, content management systems, and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS, URL tagging parameters, and other web functionalities
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal/written communication proficiency, with the ability to communicate account strategy, project progress, and recommendations directly to clients
  • Strong analytics skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate marketing data to clients
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Time management: ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and delegate as needed
  • Collaboration within and across teams
  • Initiative - motivation to seek out new responsibilities and learn additional skills
